- LENNON, CATHERINE - 3rd March 2009, GRANDMOTHER-of-four Catherine Lennon died on Tuesday, March 3. Catherine, 88, leaves behind three sons, Dennis, Kevin and Mick and grandchildren Amy, Jack. Kate and Rosie. Catherine's family said she will be remembered for her kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity. Animal-lover Catherine, of Tarleton, was hit by a reversing car near to the junction of Union Street and Castle Street in Southport on Friday, February 13 and later died due to a complication with her injuries.
