PUBLIC BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE
- WELCOME, - You are about to make an entry into a Public Book of Remembrance where you are able to leave a message and light a candle for your loved ones. However, if you have recently lost a loved one - or wish to leave a message for family, friends or neighbours who have recently lost a loved one - you may prefer to make your entry in their own Private Book of Remembrance.
To check whether a Private Book of Remembrance has been opened you can either click on the Books of Remembrance link in the left hand panel above and browse the listing of activated Books or use our Search Website facility. Entering the surname only will enhance your search results. When a Book is returned its status is indicated by a small book icon - a red cross indicates that you are unable to make any entries until the Book Owner, usually the family member responsible for the funeral arrangements, has activated the Book.
PLEASE CHECK CAREFULLY THAT THE ENTRY YOU MAKE IS IN THE APPROPRIATE BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE.

- Dear Dad/Grandad
We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence,
We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories,
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake,
With which we'll never part.
God has you in his keeping,
We have you in our hearts.
We love and miss you so much Debbie, Melanie, Sebastian and Daniel XXXX.
